Best Places in the World to Retire Adds Mexico to its Coverage

Oro Valley, Arizona, USA—September 1, 2015— Best Places In The World To Retire announced today that Mexico will be the fourth country it covers, joining Panama, Nicaragua and Belize.

Chuck Bolotin, Best Places' Vice President of Business Development, said, "We are very excited to add Mexico to our list of countries covered.  Mexico has more US and Canadian expats than any country in the world, and we have had many, many requests to add it, so we are very pleased to be able to satisfy those requests."

Alan Alexander, Chairman of the Best Places Advisor Board, expanded.  "We intentionally started in smaller countries in order to validate our model and 'get the kinks out'.  Now that we have done both, we are ready to add Mexico, as a comparatively huge destination.  We will start with coverage in the Yucatan, including Merida, the beaches around Merida, and of course, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and the other well known expat destinations.  From there, we will add other well popular destinations, including Los Cabos - La Paz, Puerto Vallarta, Chapala and Ajijic, and San Miguel de Allende.  All of these locations are, for different reasons, very desirable to US and Canadian expats, and there are already many expats there."

Bolotin added, "Mexico has many, many potential advantages for US and Canadian expats.  On the other hand, Mexico  has gotten a lot of bad press, especially with regard to violent crime.  One of our main objectives in initiating coverage of Mexico is to provide a platform for expats already living in Mexico to be heard when giving their opinions and experiences on this topic, which we will print, both the good, and the bad.  Of course, in addition to this, we will cover all the most important other topics, such as healthcare, cost of living, and lifestyle, just like we do for the other countries we cover.  I believe what we all uncover together will make for compelling reading."
