Best Places in the World to Retire Adds Portugal to its Coverage

Oro Valley, Arizona, USA—December 1, 2015— Best Places In The World To Retire announced today that Portugal will be the fifth country it covers, joining Panama, Nicaragua, Belize and Mexico.

Chuck Bolotin, Best Places' Vice President of Business Development, said, "We are very pleased to be able to add  Portugal as our first European destination.  Portugal has a great reputation among English-speaking expats not only in North America, but even more so in Europe.  However, many Americans and Canadians aren't that familiar with Portugal, so we are very happy to be able to bring them this content.

Alan Alexander, Chairman of the Best Places Advisor Board, added, "For many years, Portugal has been a favored destination for English-speaking Europeans.  It combines low cost of living, with great lifestyle, superb food and wine, and fabulous weather.  As more Americans and Canadians learn about Portugal from the Best Places' site, we believe more will become comfortable with Portugal as a potential destination, thereby broadening many of our visitors' perspectives, which is exactly one of the prime reasons they come to the Best Places' site in the first place."

Bolotin talked about the Best Places' rollout plan for Portugal.  "The first region we'll focus on will be the Algarve, because it is already so popular with expats.  The weather is exceptional, there is an existing expat infrastructure, English is widely spoken, and there are fairly inexpensive places to live.  We very much look forward to bringing Portugal to our readers."
